The CJHS Dance team helped kick off the school year at the first pep assembly on August 18 and then again with the first home football game on September 1. The team has had changes this year, including welcoming four new people to the dance team. The team has nine ladies: three freshmen, three sophomores, one junior, and two seniors. The captain is senior Paige Kalm and the co-captain is senior Sadie Berry.

The dancers began practice during the summer to prepare for the football season. At the first home game, the ladies danced to “Bring ‘em Out”, a song by rapper T.I. Later in the season,

the girls and their coach, Ginger Eubanks, will also be working on their “team routine”. These girls have been staying really busy. They are also working on their homecoming dance which will be a mash up with the cheer team. Finally, they will be practicing the senior routine which will be to a Beyoncé mix. The dance team has and will be working very hard on these dances, so make sure to come to some home football games and watch these awesome ladies dance!
